Los Angeles Rams’ Jared Goff lands at No. 21 on ForTheWin’s 2018

QB rankings Everybody would universally agree that Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff took major strides in his development last season.Never mind the numbers — even though they were drastically improved — the player himself improved. Starting with his base Discount Dakota Allen Jersey , Goff’s footwork seen major improvement. His poise. His accuracy. His decision making and ability to read defenses. And maybe most importantly, his confidence.Now, he isn’t the perfect QB. He’s still got factors of his game to work on. His accuracy could always improve (particularly on the deep ball).Steven Ruiz of ForTheWin ranked all the QB’s in the league, and Goff landed at #21 for him:The description of Goff is generally spot-on and fair. The questions begin to flow when you see that Derek Carr, Ryan Tannehill, Jammy Garpolopo, Jameis Winston Super Bowl Dakota Allen Jersey , Sam Bradford, Marcus Mariota, and Dak Prescott are rated above Goff. All of these guys have questions of different varieties (injury, bad seasons, barely any experience, etc) so it’s strange to see some ranked above Goff.The major knock for Jared at this point is probably playing under Head Coach Sean McVay.Does McVay simplify the game for Goff? Yeah, he does.Should that necessarily be a knock on Goff? No Johnny Hekker Jersey , it shouldn’t.Even Tom Brady who is one of the greatest QB’s in NFL history has had his offense tailored to his current day strengths; and I can assure you, they’re not the exact same as they were 5-10 years ago.At this point, the only thing Goff can continue to do is improve, win games, and put forth solid performances. Maybe then the perception of Jared Goff will change. Rebilas-USA TODAY SportsThe Cincinnati Bengals have officially hired Los Angeles Rams Quarterbacks Coach Zac Taylor to become their next head coach today a move we covered when it was first announced in mid-January.While there was an agreement in principle, the Bengals had to wait until the Rams’ season was over to complete the hire.Taylor joined the Rams in 2017 coming on to Head Coach Sean McVay’s staff as the assistant wide receivers coach. A year later, Taylor took over as quarterbacks coach when Greg Olsonleft to become the offensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders and their new (old) head coach, Jon Gruden.Taylor is light on experience having concluded his playing career in 2007. Four years as a grad assistant at Texas A&M preceded four years climbing the coaching ladder with the Miami Dolphins including becoming the offensive coordinator in that final year. In 2016, he jumped back to the college level to be the OC with Cincinnati before coming onto the Rams. So it’s been a steep ascent for the 35-year old.This is, of course, largely the McVay effect. Taylor now has a HC gig. Former Rams Offensive Coordinator Matt LaFleur went on to take a lateral promotion with the Tennessee Titans before becoming the Green Bay Packers’ new head coach heading into 2019. And Tight End Coach and Passing Game Coordinator Shane Waldron was interviewed by the Bengals as well. Other teams want a bit of McBae’s magic Jacob McQuaide Jersey , and it’s easy to understand why.It is worth noting here that QB Jared Goff, then, will have his fourth quarterbacks coach in four years. In his rookie year, Goff worked with Chris Weinke on Jeff Fisher’s staff before working for Olson and Taylor.
