The Calgary Stampeders signed quarterback Drew Tate to a contract extension on Monday. An eight-year veteran who has spent six seasons with the Stampeders, Tate led the league with 10 rushing touchdowns last season. In another transaction, the Stampeders released international defensive lineman Shawn Lemon in order to allow him to sign a contract with a National Football League club.
