For some will be in Scottsdale, taking on Kansas City, while the others will be over the border in Mexico, taking on the Rockies down in Hermosillo. I’m just going to do one game thread and one recap - the same will apply tomorrow, when it’s another multinational double-header. I’ll update this thread a little later, when we have the line-up for the evening game.Seems like a slightly more solid line-up for the Diamondbacks today than the one which faced the Brewers yesterday. Nick Ahmed, Jake Lamb Keith Hernandez Jersey , Wilmer Flores and Alex Avila gives us at least three more “locks” from the Opening Day roster among the position players. Interesting to see Yasmany Tomas playing the outfield, rather than first base. Luke Weaver is on the mound for Arizona, and had a solid first outing against MLB hitters. He went three innings, allowing a run on two hits, with no walks and three strikeouts. He’ll likely be continuing to work on his curve, and if that can become an effective weapon, we could have a very good pitcher on our hands. This one’s on Fox Sports Arizona; the evening game in Mexico is only on TV there, though if you speak Spanish, the radio here is broadcasting it on Univision Deportes Radio 105.1 FM.After the D-backs’ bats came alive, coming back from 5-1 down with a dozen unanswered runs for their first victory in a week, the international portion of today’s split-squad game starts shortly in Hermosillo. Why the Rockies can pay on the MLB linesColorado has more momentum than any team in the division right now and plays the next 12 games against NL West foes, including six more versus Arizona.The Rockies will counter Greinke with Antonio Senzatela (4-5, 4.92 ERA), and he has earned three of his wins at Coors this year. Last time out, the 23-year-old allowed three runs and nine hits in five innings with two walks and six strikeouts against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday, and Colorado was able to pull off a 5-3 victory. If Senzatelacan avoid pitching worse than that here, the Rockies will have a solid chance to win.Smart betting pickEven though Senzatela has picked up three of his four wins at home, his ERA is 5.04 and opposing hitters are hitting .328 against him there.
