And that might still be the case for the Cleveland Indians. But there’s a pretty significant update on one of Cleveland’s star players, and it’s not good:Francisco Lindor will not make the Opening Day roster for the Cleveland Indians. Lindor hasn’t seen any spring training action since he’s been out with a calf injury since February 6. He was progressing fairly well and there was hope that he would be with the Tribe soon after Opening Day if not on Opening Day. That’s obviously not the case anymore. Based on the report from Andre Knott, we have no idea when we may see Francisco Lindor.More updates to follow as reports come in. But at any rate, this is bad news. Now we wait to see just how bad. Or, for a contingent of the Braves’ prospective 2019 roster... drop like flies. If you’ve been following along closely over the past few weeks, you’re aware that this hasn’t exactly been a happy and healthy trip down south for the Braves. But http://www.stlouiscardinalsteamshop.com/authentic-marcell-ozuna-jersey , not to worry (or perhaps to worry more?), MLB.com beat reporter Mark Bowman chimed in with some updates on some of team’s injured regulars this morning.Dansby Swanson, as you know, missed the tail end of the 2018 season (and the playoffs) with a wrist issue that apparently had bothered him for much of the year. Per Bowman’s latest update, he’s still not quite back to hitting in back-to-back games, and the Braves appear to be targeting Tuesday for his return to official game action. (We’ll see if that holds; we’ve seen sliding deadlines out of an abundance of caution before.) In the same vein, Josh Donaldson’s debut has been prospectively pushed to Wednesday, as team medical staff continue to make sure his calf is ready for the grind ahead.Meanwhile Whitey Herzog Jersey , the update on Mike Foltynewicz’ sore elbow is perhaps less sanguine than most expected:Mark that down as “something that could have been better for sure.” Sean Newcomb, Opening Day starter? Definitely something from the “things I never thought I’d hear in March 2019,” pile. Foltynewicz threw a career high 183 frames last year and is projected by the Fangraphs Depth Charts to top that with 187 this coming season, but he’s definitely gonna need everything health-wise to turn out a-okay to hit those marks.Stay tuned for more (hopefully not-injury-related) updates from Spring Training.
