MINNEAPOLIS – An MRI has revealed Maicer Izturis suffered a complete tear of the lateral collateral ligament (LCL) in his left knee. Izturis will seek a second opinion before opting for surgery, which will require a rehabilitation period of four to six months. The imaging, conducted in Minneapolis, confirmed Izturis worst fear.
